We would like to remind everyone about the proper procedures for the city's leaf pickup program. We ask that you do not put your leaves in the street until right before the date set for pickup. These dates will be publicized in the Charles City Press and also broadcast on KCHA radio. If the leaves are put out too early, any rains will wash them into the storm sewer causing possible blockages. We appreciate your cooperation in this matter!
