City elections will be held on November 3 and there are three council seats up for election. They are currently held by Keith Starr, Dan Mallaro and Mike Hammond. These are four year terms. Filing period for nomination papers is August 24 through September 17. A recent change to the filing process is the requirement that all papers must be filed with the county auditor, not the city clerk as in the past.
