– The Street Department officially announces each year when leaf pickup will start.
We ask that you rake your leaves into the street 18" to 24" away from the curb. This allows the leaves to be picked up easier and the rain water to flow towards the storm sewers and not plug the intakes. We will start on the west side of town and work north to the avenues. Then back to the south to Clark Steet and on to the south side of the river. Please watch for the final collection dates to follow. And as always the Shaw Avenue Compost Site is open for your convenience.
